How it works

Browse, offer, escrow, transfer.

The same flow whether you’re buying or selling. We hold funds in Escrow.com, help with the asset handover, and take a 7% flat fee only when a deal closes.

Three parties · one safe handoff

Buyer

Escrow.com

Seller

Funds never touch BizConsign. Escrow.com mediates as a neutral third party — same flow Empire Flippers and Flippa use.

For buyers

  1. Browse. Every listing has a hero photo, a video walkthrough, an honest About section, and (where available) verified revenue and traffic.
  2. Make an offer or ask a question. Use the buttons on the listing detail page. We respond within 48 hours.
  3. Fund escrow. Once you and the seller agree, we set up an Escrow.com transaction. You wire funds to escrow, not to the seller.
  4. Asset transfer. Domain push, repo transfer, customer data migration — we facilitate. Most transfers complete within 7 days.
  5. Funds release. Escrow releases funds to the seller on your confirmation. 30-day post-sale support window starts.

For sellers

  1. Consign your business. Phase 1 is invite-only — we open seller signup in Phase 2. Email hello@bizconsign.comif you’d like to consign now.
  2. Verified by tier.Listings under $10K auto-publish. $10K–$50K requires verified analytics. Above $50K we manually review P&L. The right tier earns a badge buyers see at a glance.
  3. You stay in control. You set the price. You accept or counter offers. You can pull the listing anytime before escrow.

The fees

7% flat success fee, deducted when escrow releases funds. No listing fees. No memberships. No upfront costs. We make money only when you do.

Escrow.com charges a separate fee (~0.89% pass-through) for fund holding and dispute mediation. Stripe charges standard processing on the success-fee invoice we send you.
