What BizConsign is

BizConsign is a marketplace facilitating the sale of digital businesses. We are not a broker, lawyer, accountant, or investment advisor. Sellers list their own businesses; buyers acquire them. Our role is curation, escrow setup, and transfer assistance.

Buyer terms

• You must have legal authority to enter financial transactions in your jurisdiction.
• Offers submitted are non-binding until both parties accept and escrow funds.
• Once escrow is funded, both sides commit. Cancellations after this point go through Escrow.com’s dispute process.
• You’re responsible for your own due diligence beyond what we’ve verified (the verified-revenue and verified-traffic badges show what we’ve checked).

Seller terms

• You represent that you own the business you’re consigning, that your statements are accurate, and that the assets are transferable.
• You commit to a 30-day post-sale support window — answering buyer questions about the asset. Enforced via partial escrow holdback.
• Material misrepresentation (revenue inflated, code copyright not owned, customer data not transferable, etc.) voids the sale and may forfeit escrow funds.
• You can pull a listing anytime before escrow is funded.

Fees

7% flat success fee on the agreed sale price, deducted via Stripe invoice when escrow releases funds. Escrow.com charges a separate ~0.89% pass-through fee. See pricing.

Disputes

Escrow.com mediates fund-related disputes. Non-fund disputes (claims of misrepresentation, tech problems, etc.) we attempt to mediate as marketplace operator; if unresolved, parties retain all rights to civil action.

Limitations

BizConsign is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for the post-sale performance of any business sold through the marketplace, the behavior of buyers or sellers, or third-party service-provider outages.
